WebDevElijah Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 Just want to throw a quick message here. It’s been a long time since I’ve revisited the group and I just wanted to spread a bit of a positive story. I was taking Valium for 2 years taking 30-40mg a day, every day without fail. I couldn’t live without it. I eventually tapered off over a 3 month period which was my doctors choice ( a very bad one at the time ) Safe to say I had very serious cases of withdrawal symptoms for around a year after I was “clean”. It was hell on Earth for a long time. It was a very gradual process to get better and I wasn’t sure if I was going to recover from it. It really took the life and soul out of me. However I’m now 2 years free of valium and I honestly feel so great! Literally no symptoms anymore. I know everyone’s story is different but I just want to say in my case I am a new person now. I own my own business and I’m so grateful for what I have. No more crippling symptoms. For me it just took time, patience and making an effort to look after my health. I just wanted to say this to maybe give some people hope that things will get better eventually. I’m sorry if anyone takes this the wrong way. I just felt like speaking on it and I really hope anyone struggling badly can take something away from this to give them a little glimmer of hope that things will eventually get better. Time heals. Wishing you all the best x Click Here to Learn about my story Current Medications: Valium: Started around 35mg and have tapered over 3 years down to 6.8mg.
