WebDevElijah Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 I would like to share with you a lovely, positive post from my recovered friend, Karen Jahns. She wrote this and has given me permission to share with you to give everyone hope. Thank you Karen. "I feel so blessed to be where I am today as compared to last year and worse, the year before. From bed to couch to chair....to eating, sleeping, and laughing again. From unable to listen to my beloved music, or read my favorite books or watch my favorite old movies, or even to play with my darling dogs. Couldn't drink a cup of Earl Grey without getting sick. Couldn't get up the nerve to walk out my front door. I am taking deep breaths of thankfulness and enjoying all that life can give ...the simplest of things. It just took time. Time is working for all of us, dear buddies. We heal, everyone one of us, in time. Never give up. Though we are all strangers in many ways, we are all walking the same path, lifting each other up when one of us stumbles. Only we can know this suffering and pain that comes from the poisons we were given. And so we can dig deep and hang on and best of all, We can help and love each other while we heal and while we push back into life and all it brings, good and bad. After this trial, we can and will be able to face anything. Just believe. Blessings to all.
