Guidelines and Regulations
for the Use and Promotion of Medications and Substances

Our objective is to grant members the liberty to accurately and fully describe their circumstances, while simultaneously preventing excessively detailed accounts of illicit, recreational, or abusive drug use that have the potential to cause harm or distress to the broader community.

Given that the majority of our members struggle with dependency or addiction issues related to benzodiazepines, and our stated mission is to assist them in overcoming these challenges, we must strictly prohibit content that may discourage them from pursuing their goal or promote behavior that could potentially lead to new dependency or addiction. Therefore:

  • Do not promote the use of illegal drugs. Similarly, avoid describing drug paraphernalia, celebrating positive experiences associated with drug use, or glorifying such use. Please ensure that descriptions are accurate and objective.

  • Do not promote the abuse (or illegal or inappropriate use) of medicines.

  • Do not promote addictive (or habit-forming) substances as withdrawal aids.

In light of the mentioned considerations and guidance, you may engage in a discussion regarding your usage of medications and illicit substances, specifically in relation to benzodiazepine consumption and withdrawal.
