Water taperv

I just started my water taper yesterday using 300 ml to dissolve my 1 mg and discarded 150 ml since I am at 0.5 mg. Last night I did not sleep. I have a terrible migraine nausea metallic taste in my mouth and my vision is blurry. I did not have those symptoms. I am confused.  I have to stay function. I am alone with this completely alone.

When beginning a water taper, allow your body a few days to adjust to the new regimen. Sometimes, our bodies require time to adjust to the manner in which we administer these medications. Although the medications remain the same, water tapering represents a novel approach that your body needs to acclimate to.

Only at 14ml reduction and feel very bad. Water taper. Suggestions?

If you don't ask someone to help you , you will receive zero help. I reached out to a family member. She drove from Canada that day and stayed with me for two weeks. I really needed her for 6 months but that was asking too much. You need to marshal your resources wherever and whatever they may be.

 

You are your own best advocate.

Are u from Canada?  I am I have no family here. I have to work to support my self. I am confused with the length of time of the taper. Some say get it done no more than a year and others says slow. I am so confused

I had some of these same symptoms when I switched to water taper, they eased up in a week or so. 
instead of discarding that 150ml, make more doses and store in refrigerator. If you lose your provider and can’t get refills, you will have accumulated a stockpile.

How long does this discarded stockpile stay good while in the fridge? And is that for all benzodiazepines?  Thank you.

@Carol Staszak I had doses stay good for a actually over a month.  I kept it in an airtight container in the fridge where is it nice and dark. I would not hold them that long, but I had no problem with it.
